I have come 5 times to K'gudi in the last 6 years and the recent one was from 15th - 17th November, 2011. Firstly, I should confess that, the wilderness in itself is so good, it virtually captivates you. Secondly being there in the log hut / tent is a different experience and honestly it is a bliss for those comming from metropolis or any other world. Although my sitings are not so great, except that, I was able to site a Bear this time among the other wilds, nonetheless the wilderness keeps you drawing. I have so far gone to over 6 Jungle Resorts and it is indeed a memorable one. My sincere thanks to organisation "JUNGLE RESORTS" Karnataka, who are indeed doing there best in promoting wild life tourism. I need to particularly mention about the staff team at K'gudi, who are always smiling and helpful and very good on the timmings, not only in serving early morning cupa coffee / tea but also to the visits inside the forest. I look forward to visit this place again and again, for times to come. My best wishes to "Team Jungle Resorts" and HAPPY NEW YEAR, 2012 TO ALL.

Hi Dr. Venkatesh,

Thank you so much for the compliments. I use Canon 40 D with Canon 500mm f4 IS lens, Canon 100mm Macro. The combination you have is really good and I think if you can upgrade to any prime lens it will be an extra edge to your photography. In prime lens the image quality improves a lot in terms of bokeh and sharpness, though it becomes lil heavier. Regarding sharpness of my images I would always suggest you to use a bean bag or a tripod as the shakes will be less than our normal hand grip. This has really helped me to give some very sharp images even at lower shutter speeds and ofcourse in Photoshop you can enhance it a lil more !! I wish you have a wonderful trip at K.Gudi and please do some main road drives at free time in the afternoon. You may never know what you can encounter!! And for now you can contact me at 09424215683. This number is with me for a while.
